How to use compose module with HO bicolour
To load Ha and Oiii into compose, I usually blend the two together 50/50, using it as the luminance - then Ha goes to R, Oiii goes to both green and blue. Is there another way to do it? I'm wondering about leaving L blank, then Ha to R, Oiii to G, and Oiii to blue but "not set" so Ha and Oiii are eq...

Starsynth Issue
Upon masking a bright star(s). The starsynth module creates odd boxes around the brighter stars. I am using the reflector preset. Thanks. Picture attached.

Re: HDR in Startools 8
Hi Ivo
I don't seem to be getting the effect I was looking for with the reveal module in my image. I should try it with a galaxy rather than the nebula (Rho ophiuchi). I'll take your word as creator that it's the same as reveal core. Thanks for your amazing work. Im really admiring 1.8.

Re: Does anyone have any general tips for getting good dual band (HOO) color?
Just to put in my 2 cents worth, personally picking the right target is important as there should be at least a certain portion of Oiii there. Two examples are the Rosette nebula https://flic.kr/p/2jMt7rs which has some but not a lot of Oiii and M42 https://flic.kr/p/2mE2yVT Generally, I usually pus...

Re: HDR in Startools 8
I'm not having much success no matter how I adjust the settings. Ivo - would have a recommended setting under reveal that corresponds with reveal core? Thanks. Richard

Re: Adding Ha to LRGB
The new feature is excellent! Here a link to a lrgb version of my target https://www.flickr.com/gp/rkonrad/41sdp0 and Halrg with nbaccent https://www.flickr.com/gp/rkonrad/633vL1. These are not my final versions as I have more work to do.

Re: Adding Ha to LRGB
I just realized there is a NBaccents slot in compose for me to insert my ha data. I will try it!

HDR in Startools 8
I love the enhancements and improvements in the new startools version. I'm struggling a bit with the hdr - reveal function. I'm trying to get it to work as "reveal core" in the earlier versions. Ivo (or others), what settings in the module should I adjust to get what I want.
Thanks Richard

Adding Ha to LRGB
I think this topic has been mentioned before but I don't recall a solution - sorry if I missed it. I have seen so many amazing images of halrgb online but I have never been successful in my processing. This is what I have tried: 1. I have mixed (at the linear level) Ha with L in a variety of percent...
