Hi everyone
With the eye-candy gas and dust season almost upon us once more, I thought I'd have a fling at yet more galaxies in praise of ST's oh so fine SVDecon module. Pre-processed in Siril, the rest, ST 1.9.565 under Ubuntu.
Thanks for looking and clear skies.
Steve

... sleep. Thank you very much for the idea how to fix this colorization of the stars in ST, I will try it immediately. Until now, I used the repair module to decolorize the stars, as the only one - although this module creates an artificial star and is no longer a photo for my concepts ...

One way to hopefully fix that is use the module Shrink as per below , hopefully this should help. “Star Colour correction using Shrink Module” Create a good Star Mask and ensure all star cores ...

Probably just manual fiddling. Trying to stretch good detail from the corona may ...

... Used SV Deconvolution in Synthetic Mode not sampled PSF mode. Created quite a few SHO versions using the Startools Matrix feature in the Colour module and then a slight tweak using DPP4. Quite pleased with the results The image was very clean with minimal noise to mitigate The only anomaly was ...

... estimation. Please give me a hint is this is still unclear, and I will try to explain in more detail, as it is important. Correct, before Color module is used, ST saves out RGB TIFFs having all three colours the same value. Actually, my tool only considers the R channel right now. And it only ...

Re: Mosaic processing

... I opened via the 'open' option with the data source being OSC. This results in a monochrome image and you only get the colors back in the color module. If you choose the 'linear' option without specifying the data source you should be fine. Regards Stefan

... be wrong. Experiment! Just whichever you do you don't want to save out while in tracking/compose mode (button lit up green) prior to the Color module, as your TIFF save at that point will be grayscale (despite technically being an RGB TIFF). Let us know if anything like that works and you get ...

In the Wipe module it is too blown out to see if the donut is there or not. In the post-Wipe OptiDev, it is back - unsurprisingly (now down to 300x): in_optiDev_post-Wipe_300x.jpg ...

Its only a specific exporting stretch module which then makes an image non linear, and you can do that or not. From my side, I have not done a Full Startools work through using only Startools, ...
