less stars desired

What is the best way if any to reduce the number of stars? Last night I went after the NGC7635 which is full of stars. Trying to bring out more the center of attention of the bubble. Have been doing some searching around on the net for this solution and not getting alot of hits. I see hits on star size, etc.

Hi,

There are a few methods. You could use the Shrink module, or in widefields, use the Life module's Isolate preset (which is now to the default setting in the Life module as of 1.5).
The Life module in particular was created precisely to refocus the attention of the viewer on large scale structures.
Would you be able to post a finished version of the image if you are still having trouble? Thank you!
