Hi Ivo, everyone

Repair works great but leaves sharp edged stars. There was once a post/tutorial as to how to restore a more natural look after using repair -using the Layers module I think, but I can't find it.

Anyone?

Hi Steve,

I think the technique you are thinking of is described in the video M8 in Color with modest data between 13m32s and 15m11s - it describes the use of the Layer module to improve the stellar profile. I've added a summary of it to the Special Techniques section of the Repair Module Use topic.
