Combining cropped Ha and RGB Shots

OK, here's the issue at hand. We have Ha data and RGB data captured by the same camera. Startools indicates that the RGB data has stacking artifacts, therefore needs some cropping for processing purposes. The Ha data gives no indication that there are stacking artifacts, thus requires no cropping to continue on with processing.

Of course, we want to combine the Ha and RGB data later but the Layer module will complain that the pictures are of different sizes, and won't allow layering. What is the best way to deal with this issue?

You know what would be totally awesome in Startools for this? The ability for Startools to create a star mask on both pictures and automatically resize and align the larger of the pics down to the smallest based on the differences in the masks. Just a thought. Ivo?

Yep, something along those lines is planned for 1.4.
In the meantime, the Crop module actually remembers the croppping dimensions you applied to any previous image of the exact same dimensions (in this case RGB), so that if you load another image with the same (original) dimension (in this case Ha), it will automatically set the right parameters.
