M8 Lagoon in Bi-Colour NB

Post by alistairsam »

hi,

Just thought I'd share my result with a "quickie" I took a few days ago from my backyard.

http://www.astrobin.com/full/212756/0/

This is just 1 x 20min 5nm Ha and 1 x 20min 3nm O3 with a 10inchF4 and STF8300m.
This was combined in the LRGB module in Startools and all processing done there, but final colour tweaking was done with selective colours in PS.

I was pretty surprised at the amount of detail and smoothness, but I'd like to personally thank Ivo and others involved for Startools, its an unbelievably brilliant software that makes it a breeze to work with almost any data.
The Decon, HDR and tracking features are magic.

I think you need a gallery section here Ivo where we can post our work that has been processed with Startools.
I've recently converted a few others as well who've been die hard PS fans and they now love it.

Keep up the excellent work

Alistair
