m31 first process

My first go with startools on M31 not brilliant but astep forward still a bit of work to be done any comments welcome good or bad approx 80 x50 sec subs unguided sw200p canon 1000d 800 iso darks flats and bias used in deespacestacker

Hi,

Not bad in the detail department, but color is somewhat lacking...

Are you using the following details for DSS?

thanks ivo i will have another go, did the dss etc virgin data no processing will update if i do better thanks

I'm in the midst of processing M31 too. It looks to me that you didn't stretch it enough. This image is using a ES ED80 and Atik 460ex with 250sx20 lum. I used AutoDev and set the ROI over the center two thirds. Deconv the brighter areas followed by Sharp (large and medium), then Denoise.
