Thanks Happy kat , using the Idas d2 does make the blue stars too blue so takes a bit of playing with though st1.6 has duo band preset seems to work quite well toning the blue down , I need to work out how to mask only the blue stars and see if that would work .

Nice image maxchess though you have stacking artefacts at top of image try redoing processing and crop out before using autodev and wipe
