The old and the new

These images were taken 18 months apart. The M8 widefield during 2011 and another eta widefield earlier this year. Both processed/reprocessed in ST.

Stunning.
I love how at full resolution (especially in the Eta Carina widefield) you have all these clumps of similarly colored stars - you used colour here very effectively. It's crowded with stars but still has depth - the stars just jump at you! Love it! :thumbsup:

Thanks Ivo. There are a lot of great images appearing on the forum. The colour module works very nicely. Particularly with properly calibrated data. Agree that it should be one of the last tools to apply.
