Log File Semi corrupted text on mask use on 1.4.340

Post by happy-kat »

Hi
I have been using 1.4.340 and so far no problems within the application but on looking at the log file the log is very messed up where there has been the use of a mask.
This happens every time a mask is setup.

Hi,

This is a feature! It allows you (or anyone else) to recover the mask you used at that point.
The mask is a PNG file encoded as BASE64.

Then that is brilliant, sorry I had not known that and it looked odd in the log file.

Any advice on how one recovers the mask from within the log file?

You could, for example, go here;

https://www.motobit.com/util/base64-decoder-encoder.asp

Paste the BASE64 code, select decode the data from a Base64 string (base64 decoding) and export to a binary file, filename:, name the file "mask.png" and click the convert the source data button.
This should result in a download of the mask as a PNG file.

Right!

Got it now, thanks, Ivo!

And a belated happy new year.
