dither and st

Post by alacant »

Hi

I have around 20 frames dithered in PHD2 under APT. I plan to stack in DSS using clipping.
Question: To make it suitable for st, should I include bias frames?

Cheers and clear skies,

Depending on your acquisition device you may be able to get away with just dithering and no bias frames. What do you acquire your data with?

Thanks!

With this modern camera, dithering between frames may be sufficient.
