M33 The Triangulum From GA

Post by dhellis59 »

Hi All,

After many revisions and some help on the Trouble Shooting section of this forum, here goes my M33 submission:
M33 58 L 24 D 24 F 24 DF 4 B 103016 3rd Pass 04.jpg
M33 58 L 24 D 24 F 24 DF 4 B 103016 3rd Pass 04.jpg (187.6 KiB) Viewed 5452 times
The image consists of 58 5 minute subframes with calibration frames taken through an 80mm C80ed refractor from a red zone.

Thanks for looking.

After discussing with other Startools users and implementing some of their advice and suggestions, I was able to come of with this:
M33 58 L 24 D 24 F 24 DF 4 B 103016 06.jpg

Thanks for looking,

Galaxy colour looks a little too blue in the second version - and the stars are green! StarTools offers the option to clip the Green channel to either Brown or Yellow which would correct that.
