Re: NGC6914 HaRGB 8h total- Bortle8
It depends on the gradient you got on your files, for some reason I find that WIpe brings up some green noise that doesn't seems to be there on the corrected image. i might leave it default and tweak dark anomalies instead. but in your files might vary, your sky is cleaner than mine for sure! Re: NGC6914 HaRGB 8h total- Bortle8
Hi Carles, awesome result, can't believe it's from Bortle 8 :bow-yellow: Especially the reflection nebula is remarkable. "pre-processed" for background extraction on GraXpert Does Graxpert work on linear data or did you have to stretch it for background extraction and work without tracking in ST? R...

Re: NGC6914 HaRGB 8h total- Bortle8
Looks great, Carles :) . Amazing to see, what's possible for you under Bortle 8 skies. :bow-yellow: "Usual ST workflow" means processing with NB Accent, I suppose? I still have to try that, too. But weather here doesn't allow for it. Clouds, rain and still missing astrodark :( Why do you stack with...

NGC6914 , 4hours RGB (IR/UV antihalo) + 4hours L-extreme from Bortle 8 ish. PlayerOne Poseidon-C (imx571) camera and Borg89ED telescope Calibrated with DSS, Staked on Siril, "pre-processed" for background extraction on GraXpert, then usual StarTools workflow. Re: StarTools 1.9 preview
Hi Ivo, everyone 1.9.570 Is there a changelog, anything you need testing or feedback upon? Cheers, Steve Hi Steve, There is a CHANGELOG file included that details all the changes between the beta versions. The current things being tested are the translations and an AutoDev enhancement; If you are a...

Re: StarTools 1.9 Beta
yeah, new SVD is the main reason I'm still using ST v1.8
1.9 has good stuff, but not feeling comfortable with the lack of control of SVD

Re: Soul Nebula
Hi Stefan, No it isn't over stretched, after all this is almost 19h of data..., it simply has less aggressive use of contrast and I think that's one of the issues on why the inner part nebula gets lost. The use of Contrast module can darken too much some areas And yeah, over saturation hides details...
