Sorry I missed this post. Yep, as @alacant mentions, you need a driver that is capable of providing OpenCL to be able to offload calculations to your GPU.
See if the command 'clinfo' provides anything.

Re: RC BlurXterminator …. Any comments ?
In the end astrophotography is fairly reliant on creativity and the image you end up with will be quite different from mine even if we use the same data. The goal of documentary photography is to be the least reliant possible on creativity, and the most reliant on what has been captured. Using the ...

Hi Ivo, everyone 1.9.570 Is there a changelog, anything you need testing or feedback upon? Cheers, Steve Hi Steve, There is a CHANGELOG file included that details all the changes between the beta versions. Re: a number os isues
Thanks Ivo, I am using Ubuntu LXDE and Mint Cinnamon on Linux. So this does not happen with you? For me every time. Never with version 8. Thanks again. Richard I'm using Mint MATE here. Are you running the latest 1.9 beta? There was a bug some versions ago that indeed caused a crash in the Synth mo...

Re: a number os isues
Hi Richard, Thank you for your report. 1. In version 8 and 9 (maybe 7 too), in the sharpening module, the "before" is grayed out when using the default 300%. 299 or 301 enables it. I can indeed replicate this if no new mask is generated. This indeed needs fixing. 2. In version 9, clicking on the sta...

Re: Processes or tools for removing moon glare?
Moon glare is really Wipe's domain. Of course, stray moon light will greatly add to the noise and make it harder to collect data on faint objects. However, not all of us can image under pristine skies - we have to get what we can to get. If you find yourself in this situation often, narrowband filte...
