Great image lots of colour captured.
I like to use HDR reveal DSO core rather than reveal all when it's a central bright area to coax from.
I've only done a couple mosaics but I processed each frame separately then stitched the final images.

If I'm working with an image with strong CA then I exclude the stars with strong CA from the colour module and leave then in luminance colour.

Mask > create a lasso area > select grow blob, mas, grows > select shrink blob
expected: mask selected area to shrink all around the edge inwards
bu what happened was the mask shrinks at a single selected pixel level

what are you using to image with, might that be chromatic aberration?

Another option is keep a mask excluding the offending stars and leave then in mono.

There is a trick with the layer module.

Have you tried STReplay, it lets you do just that select from which to which step in a process and then carry on with from which step to which step to continue, as examples.

I would love too but just not able to give it the attention it merits.

When I built a mosaic I used Film Dev as then I could set the % stretch the same across the mosaic panes. Though then I hadn't been using Autodev so much as i do now but haven't had a mosaic to build to compare using Autodev with it.

I enjoyed processing this data and it is interesting to see other processes
