Re: crash: selecting stars SVDecon
I'll let you know but have not seen it happen since running latest rev; things look stable and solid.

Re: crash: selecting stars SVDecon
For whatever its worth, I've had great success using SVDecon with GPU-enabled ST and 32GB of system memory...except...on a couple of occasions, SVDecon crashed when I selected a star that straddles the outer edge of the window border; don't do it anymore and no issues.

Very nice Russ, love seeing 'out of the ordinary' objects and love your AB "beauty contest" comment!

Re: SHO with OSC?
Keen to see your tri-color results with Norm's data when you get around to it.
As for the HOO vs. H(H+O)O debate (yes, twisted spelling gymnastics), my wife loves the latter so I create both to please her and keep the "budget" for astro-goodies open!

Re: NGC 2944 Running Chicken Nebula
Yeah, makes sense for the log; too many variations. Appreciate you taking the time to outline your process steps; good to see how others approach their ST flow and you've given me some good tips to try out as I get deeper and deeper "into the weeds" with this great software. I'm using the latest 1.8...

Re: SHO with OSC?
Yes indeed, nice images and the SII really adds flavor. I exchanged my L-Enhance for the L-Extreme but still have tons of good L-Enhance data so I can experiment with both; another item to add to the Christmas list! The SVBony looks good too; as I also have Optolong L-Pro, may just stick to the same...

Re: NGC 2944 Running Chicken Nebula
Very nice Matrix variations; love the colors. I also have the L-Extreme and would like to similarly dabble with my recent targets; don't suppose you have the ST log file for all this you can share? Did you load the same dataset in the RGB slots in Compose and choose the usual bi-color OSC...
