Wipe module - editing mask
It has happened to me a few times already, I have an image (taken from the city) that looks to me like a uniform bright red background after autodevel and yet doing wipe shows that there are a couple of small dark anomalies left-over after flats which create a halo, so they have to be removed. But c...

Lens module: click to center / show center
The lens module seems to be helpful when I don't use a flattener, however in its current state it is needlessly hard to use. For example, from the shape of the stars I can see where the symmetry center is just by eyeballing, however I have to translate that into pixels to use the Center X/Y sliders ...

Re: Processing IC1805 & IC1848 can it be improved?
Wait, how does DSS not white-balance the image here? I've never seen a blue background when autodeveloping autodevelop with a DSS 3.3.4 image from RAW! Was it luck? DSS only white balances canons and Nikons but leaves Olympus alone?

Re: Mask Brush
I think I've asked for that as well The work-around I use is to make the mask in photoshop using the brush tool - I have the photo on a layer to see where I am painting and I make the mask on a layer above it.

Re: Cropping Tool - Keep Ratios
Do you mean the aspect ratio of the original image? If that's what you mean, why?

Re: DSS Settings
The settings that are relevant to StarTools are the RGB Channels Background Calibration and Per Channel Background Calibration which should be both "No". Despite that, the autosave image will still be whitebalanced, so when opening with StarTools you choose the first button. Now, I've tried the seco...

Re: Eliminating white balancing when using DSS
Interesting thread. I was under the impression that when using RAW files DSS does calibration before debayering, which, as I understand the process, is the right way to go and should make a difference. So, using DCRAW first would debayer the images, so they would not be whitebalanced, but their cali...

Oh, it's a tracking issue? Well, why don't you create a GUI interface using Visual Basic to see if you can track an IP address??

Re: White pixels in decon
How is it going Ivo, any luck? I've got an image of the Cat's Eye nebula which gives me some very "interesting" results at decon. If I don't set a mask I get the white pixels, but if I set a circular mask around the nebula... well, take a look: Screen Shot 2016-10-29 at 7.14.26 PM.png That's at defa...
