Hi Mike,
What I did was blend 50/50 of the two stacks - Ha and Oiii on the linear level. I don't quite understand the logic behind it though. How would ST know which part of the image comprises of Ha and which Oiii? Thanks for all our help.

Re: NB Accent - multiple data
Thanks Mike, The blend is 50% Ha and 50% Oiii. I've tried adding this at nb accent at appropriate time, chose the 3rd option but no colour comes through. I can't imagine how StarTools could know what data is on there unless I assign it. Ivo, is it possible to incorporate 2 nb accent files (or inform...

NB Accent - multiple data
Hi, I am processing a rather nice data set (not my own) of the tarantula nebula. I want to use the lrgb data sets and nbaccent with the Ha AND Oiii files. Is that possible? It looks like I can only add one or the other under this option. I tried blending the 2 files and loading them but how would St...

Rho Ophiuchi
I took this image remotely via itelescope in Chile. I believe there is roughly 5-6 hours of data here including some Ha. Reducing the stars was very challenging . Thanks for looking. https://flic.kr/p/2n6SriT

converting mask from log file
I had my first go at converting the base64 code from the log to a .png file at motobit.com. I followed instructions and when I tried to load it (open) the mask, I got the message "dimensions differ from already loaded file". What to do here...?
Thanks! Richard

Re: Starsynth Issue
Thanks for the replies. I will try to increase the fov specs when I get back to this image - and thanks for the praise. I will come back to this image and post the final result.

Thanks so much - this seems to be the effect I was looking for. I do love the ability to adjust the sliders and customize the results.

How to use compose module with HO bicolour
To load Ha and Oiii into compose, I usually blend the two together 50/50, using it as the luminance - then Ha goes to R, Oiii goes to both green and blue. Is there another way to do it? I'm wondering about leaving L blank, then Ha to R, Oiii to G, and Oiii to blue but "not set" so Ha and Oiii are eq...

Starsynth Issue
Upon masking a bright star(s). The starsynth module creates odd boxes around the brighter stars. I am using the reflector preset. Thanks. Picture attached.

Re: HDR in Startools 8
Hi Ivo
I don't seem to be getting the effect I was looking for with the reveal module in my image. I should try it with a galaxy rather than the nebula (Rho ophiuchi). I'll take your word as creator that it's the same as reveal core. Thanks for your amazing work. Im really admiring 1.8.
