I too have been trying out Siril and it's remarkably fast. I'm about 70% understanding it though and would love a tutorial - especially how to incorporate calibration frames into it.
Cheers Richard

Re: Dealing with Dew
Thanks, I noticed that. This doesn't always happen in processing attempts using the same technique - this and the last being one of the few examples. Why does this happen? Also, you're quite correct that the nebulocity to the left shouldn/t - doesn't exist! It must be a poor wipe for the Ha data. Pe...

Re: Dealing with Dew
Hi Simon, I gave your data a go omitting the S11 data to give a bi-colour image. The method was basically the same as the video I posted earlier (generally). To get the Oiii to come through I had to process the Ha and Oiii separately then recombined them. I had to do a wipe with the Oiii data using ...

Getting correct colours with Ha(L)RGB
I was fortunate enough to find some great data from a post in Cloudy Nights of M16. The imager took HA, R G and B. So as there's no luminance data, I used Ha as L in the compose module. The red colour is really off I feel. What would be some techniques to make the ha data as naturally red as possibl...

Re: no colour under lrgb compose
Hi Ivo,
I thought it wold be the simplest to send you a video of 2 data sets of Jim Mistis. I've tried others too with the same results. Thanks!

no colour under lrgb compose
Hello Ivo,
I've tried numerous datasets and can't get any colour when I load L R G B under compose. This includes some of Jim Misti's sets as well as some others - but the colour module doesn't register any colour at all. Thought you'd like to know.

I like it too. Great job!
I'd love to give your data a go but do you have the stacked tiff/fit? Less work for me rather than stacking everything. Thanks!

Re: Can't seem to get the colours right
You're welcome. I'm glad you found the longish tutorial helpful. I reviewed the final image again and if I could do it over again, I would back off on the dark saturation as there is a constant "red" even in the dark background. So just to stress, as is suggested by Ivo, I would be processing the ch...
