I will have to try that satellite trick, thanks. I liked the blue also, but liked the detail of the second one. I'll play with it some more, I'm sure

Re: NGC 2146
Here's my second try. I got a lot more detail in the galaxy. I may try restacking as there are a coulple of satellite trails(one right thru the center of the galaxy) that are driving me nuts. http://astrob.in/76675/B/

Hi everyone,
It usually takes me a couple of tries before I'm satisfied with my results. This is the first try for NGC 2146. Comments encouraged

Re: My latest NGC 2403
Real nice. One thing I'd like to get a better handle on is how to cleanly shrink the stars a bit more. I seem to get haze round mine. :? Great shot, the color module works so much nicer now  On AstroBin one can pretty well tell who's using ST's now on galaxies at a glance. :!: Thanks I'll...

Re: Lots of color noise. What am I doing wrong?
Mark from my own experience, and from what I gather from others, most of us have felt the same. Keep at it and it will come together. By no means do I know how and what everything does, but I read thru all the posts on this forum, and looked at all the vids. My suggestion, start with Ivos basic work...
Re: NGC 925
Lovely image of an extremely interesting object that isn't imaged that often. You've done well here! Thank you Ivo. I am really getting to love this software. Getting results like this would have taken me forever(if at all)in other programs. Everyone is different, but for me, once I got ...
