Ok.
Well thank you for that! Certainly different from what I would have known to do. But those are steps I should be able to follow, and I will definitely give that a try.
Appreciate the suggestions I will write down these steps!

Duo Band HOO
I have never tried this so apologies for questions that obviously are off track. I have a duo ban L-Extreme. It makes very nice, red images. But (uh oh) I watched a you tube video that suggested that people use APP to "extract" Ha, OIII, and OIII mono. Then, and NOT specifically in ST, use "Ha" as R...

Re: L-eNhance star colors
Thanks. I totally get what you're saying. I wonder if people can layer stars using a different filter on to a set of images that were taken with the nebulosity filter? It sounds like something people who know how to process in depth could do. Like everyone, I guess I would like to have my cake and e...

L-eNhance star colors
I think the L-eNhance does a nice job of bringing out nebulosity. But when I process with it, it causes my stars look too blue. I read a post here from about a year ago, which I have a difficult time following. This person had the same filter and similarly used an OSC camera. The suggestion for him ...

Re: LRGB error message.

LRGB error message.
I'm clueless. I failed to come up with an image on my first try at LRGB, so I carefully prepared a 2nd set with a new target. In APP, I separately stacked subs from L, R, G, and B and got unstretched stacks for each. I went into the compose mode of ST and selected "L/RGB". It's the only choice that ...

Re: How do I process LRGB?
I'm afraid that this first attempt for me in mono/LRGB is a bust as far as the color channels. I must have somehow scrambled the channel data in collection or stacking. The colors are all over the map and far from adjustable. I had been encouraged when I saw details in the L data that looked decent....

Re: How do I process LRGB?
However, I may be on to something here with a new style of astro/modern art. I will soon be rich.

Re: How do I process LRGB?
Well, that was a pretty spectacular failure. The image showed decent data in B&W. I don't know what happened with the RGB.
I don't know if this is an acquisition error or a processing error or both.

How do I process LRGB?
I suspect this is another dumb question. I have been using ST for OSC, and I have had decent results considering I don't yet know enough about post processing. I got a Mono camera and a set of LRGB filters. I collected the lights for all and stacked with APP. Bringing the stack to ST, I confess I di...
