Re: My first Narrowband Image
I live in London, England, known fondly to those of us who astroimage as “LPLondon”. The light pollution is basically at the levels of Victorian Smog. My back garden is Bortle 8. I do not have Dark Skies. That said, this is why I have 7/6.5nm narrowband filters, so that I can ignore the light pollu...

Re: My first Narrowband Image
I'm not familiar with sharpcap's gain settings or the hypercam's so take this with a grain of salt. What I do know is that ZWO uses the same chip in their ASI183MM. The gain goes from 0 to 300 and unity is at 120. If we assume a similar relation of the two scales of 0-5000 and 0-300, I would assume ...

UNDO / REDO in modules
How about In addition to the "before / after" button, an "undo / redo" that went back one iteration would be nice. I'd like to be able to compare the output of two different sets of settings within a module. For example, in the HDR module, being able to compare tame settings at detail 1000 or 2000. ...

CROP with keep aspect ratio
I'm often cropping images to suit a particular aspect ratio, 4:3 or 5:4 for example. Would be cool to set a box of a particular ratio on the image and drag a corner handle to scale the crop while maintaining the aspect ratio. Also, being able to set a particular size of the crop and then drag it aro...

Re: Help needed with narrow band processing
That looks great, I look forward to hearing about the new tools! I used the LRGB module to create a synh lum and then went back into the LRGB module to combine the channels. Also used the narrowband preset for wipe. Used a heavy dose of HDR to tame the core. Used the Hubble preset in the color modul...

Re: Help needed with narrow band processing
Here are the new links to the narrow band data on M17. I shot just over 30 hours and keep about 95% of the subs for a total integration time of 28.6 hours. All subs were 3 minutes for a total of just over 600 subs. All pre-processing was done in APP. Shot from a "red zone" outside the city with ASI1...

Re: Help needed with narrow band processing
Richard,
That's very nice!
I've grabbed a lot more data, a total of about 30 hours; 10 on each filter.
BTW, I use APP to do all the pre-processing.
If anyone is interested, I can share the data.
Thanks again!
