I did a quick startools processing on Mel15 (ha). I tried to remove the stars and used several different settings. How can I remove the donuts around were the stars were? I had to leave a few larger stars?

How to make a synth Lum from DSLR
Is there a way to make synthetic lum then process it separately then combined with RGB that was processed? Any reason to do this in ST?

my attempt at dithering and did not use darks. Maybe I didn't do it correctly

oh I wish I could remember. I can't find it in PI and I was jumping all over the place I tried a simpler approach with double cluster (didn't try and heal stars just working on color).
