Re: Bug in Wipe Module? - Red Image and Black area
I actually resolved the issue! I was shooting all my calibration frames in artemis but shooting my light frames in nebulosity. For some reason (likely rotation) the frames generated by the two programs were incompatible. Will post images later!

Re: Bug in Wipe Module? - Red Image and Black area
So I tried to take new flat frames and bias frames tonight some affect but not much. I also took the camera off the scope and per the shop I bought it from set it to -40c and let it sit for half and hour. The result... no frost so I'm not sure where that leaves me except to send the camera back... n...

Re: Bug in Wipe Module? - Red Image and Black area
So I posted my issue on a couple of other forums and they seem to think that it is related to the optical window getting dew or freezing. However then I noticed that if I completely removed the flat frames I ended up with a semi usable image. The problem is I can't see the pattern that is causing th...

Re: Bug in Wipe Module? - Red Image and Black area

That's a good idea. Might try that Friday.admin wrote:Might be an idea to shoot some daytime images with it to see if the camera is ok? (you can create a pin hole lens if you need to)

Re: Bug in Wipe Module? - Red Image and Black area
Hmmm.... I'm getting some incredibly uneven illumination on both T2 and T5. I have whole chunks of the Rosette missing and am seeing some really funky cloudy gradient/light pollution remnants. I've never seen anything quite like it. How does the stack look without calibration frames? Are your flats...

Re: Bug in Wipe Module? - Red Image and Black area
After some messing around I managed to figure out it has something to do with the Dark Anomly filter. I changed it to 4, and then added more frames tonight, and this is what I get:

Bug in Wipe Module? - Red Image and Black area
I'm getting bizarre behavior from the wipe module trying to process my rosette nebula taken with my new camera. After I crop and use wipe I get a completely red image with a black area in the lower left. Link to fits file below: http://1drv.ms/1EBV0Tp While Photoshop reveals a little bit of gradient...
