Re: DSS vs Siril vs ASTAP
I have been using Siril lately and like the results. I've even had pretty good results stacking with Affinity Photo, which now has astropotography specific stacking. And you can often find it for half price of $25 on sale. It is a great alternative to photoshop.

Re: 1.5 is out
Hi Ivo
I've been out of the loop for a while. Hoping to get back into ap more now. Just noticed this update by chance and renewed my license. I know you said old license will still work, but you put a lot of work into this. Your excellent support is appreciated.

Notty
I tried to open your stacked file in Startools but no go. It seems to be an Affinity file.

Re: re-doing the same steps?
as far as applying the steps automatically to an image, that currently is a no go. It's been suggested before, but not implemented. Ivo usually has good reasons for adding or not adding features

Re: re-doing the same steps?
Wherever you have startools installed, find the distro folder, in there is a text file StarTools.log this keeps track of what you have done on each image you have worked on. the most recent being the last part of the file. It keeps all of the images worked on until/unless you delete it
