healing properly

Post by Rkonrad »

I'm not having much luck with healing coloured stars. They seem to leave a stain on the background, be that the black sky or a red nebula. I feel quite certain that I have selected the entire star including it's glow. Is there a special setting that I am neglecting? Generally I can get rid of this stain if I select them individually through colour selection or lasso - but life's too short for this!
Also, I would like to remove the very small square stars. Are there parametres to select something square?

Thanks for your help.

ps sorry for dropping out of the forum awhile back on Jim Misti's 101 and colour. I'll try to get back about that soon.

Hi,

Could you give an example/crop (upload) of the image you're trying to perform this on?

Thanks!
