NGC 281

Post by Paul115 »

I want to share with you my image of NGC 281 the "Packman nebula"
I took this last week when I was lucky enough to be visiting a Star Party here in England.

The image is a two-hour exposure composed of 24x300 second Ha subs, taken through my Altair Astro EDT 115 with an Atik 428EX CCD camera and 7nm Ha filter.
Processing was done in StarTools and finished off in Photoshop CS5.

I am very pleased with how easy it was to process this data in Star Tools. I am still learning how to do Astro-image processing and I find the software very easy to use.
