Good one! I like the first, with not as much bright white and has all the little gas knots showing.

I might SS or denoise more to smooth out the nebulosity of the graininess, but pretty awesome for a first duoband light!

Thanks Mike I’m impressed how much detail was captured for so litte data , I tried again last night Trying Ivo’s HOO process in the duoband thread , using the default colouring no matrix colouring , I think more data will smooth the image if only I could get a clear night not as stretched as the first image which I have a habit of doing so I knocked it back a bit .

Awesome! I've seen a few of these M27's lately on CN, and your detail in there compares well or even better.

What kind of reach do you have with your scope? This can't be too cropped in with all that detail. :obscene-drinkingcheers:

I will have to find this in Stellarium and see how well I can frame it up - my max is 900mm though.

Mike this was taken with a 8” Newtonian 1000 mm fl using a zwo533mc r3008x3008 pixel scale is 1.22 pix using 2x2 bin so cropped very little .
