One of my favorite things to do has been revisiting previously captured data and applying what I've learned since then. It seems to me that the key to getting the most out of the whole astrophotography process, including Startools, is be patient with yourself and never give up.

Object: Messier Object 8
Common Name: Lagoon Nebula
Imaging date: 05-16-2021
Location: Tucson, AZ under urban skies
Camera: Orion Starshoot G4 Color
Telescope: Orion Skyview Pro 8 Newtonian (203 mm diameter, 1000mm focal length, F 4.9)
Mount: Orion Atlas
Guiding: None

17 x 60 second exposures (17 minutes image data)
No filters
No focal reducer/barlow
Focus was done as best guess. I didn't have a Bahtinov mask at this point, and hadn't get seen the really awesome focus assistant tools in SharpCap.

True, the actual nebula is significantly larger. I work with a relatively small field of view shooting in prime focus with this camera. I think, best guess, this is about 143x normal size.
