Reprocess of NGC 2237 Rosette Nebula

Reprocessed my Rosette image from January using a few alternatives
2600MC with L Extreme
Compose Select Luminance Colour - L+Synthetic L from R (2xG ) B, R ( GB) (GB) ( Bi Colour from OSC DSLR )

AutoDev set no ROI
Wipe used Narrowband preset in lieu of default
Contrast used 30 / 30 in lieu of default 50 / 50
Skipped HDR
Sharpening set to 150%
Deconvolution used 1.8 pixels
Colour increased Blue bias in SHO preset

Original frame
Cropped versions to view more detail

Very nice. The medium stars and diffraction spikes are quite crisp, and the parade or carnival of animals is pretty sharp as well. :)

From the description it sounds like you went for the synthetic deconvolution over the spatially variant? :?:

I'll have to go find my Rosette gallery post - I don't think I updated it after coming up with a final version for last month's CN challenge.

NB: I’m still using V1.7
Upgrading to V1.8 later in the year when I set up my new rig
