It often happens to me that the program quits suddenly when trying to save work.

This is the screen copy, in case it can help.

Version is 1.6.389 beta

Thank you for reporting this. It looks like an macOS dialog related NULL pointer issue somewhere.
Is this fairly easy to replicate? If so, I could send you a debug version so we can pin-point the issue easier.

Thanks Ivo, I installed this version and as soon as the problem appears I will send you the Log
There is a Log file of Startools and another one reported by the Mac. Do you want them both?

Thank you for the log your provided via PM.
It's a bit of a worry; it seems it's the OS component (com.apple.CoreFoundation) crashing and not really the StarTools code.
I frankly don't know what to recommend here and I'd love to hear if anyone else is experiencing this.
Is there anything you can think of that is unique to your machine (some plug-in, mod or otherwise that might make the OS component crash like this?)

Well, don't worry. I can live with it.

It does not happen very often, it will surely be my computer thing

Thanks for your time, Ivo

Greetings

I hate the idea of the application crashing though :(
Last thing I can try is to give you a build some optimizations turned off in the off-chance that makes a difference.
I'll compile one shortly.
