Color in Mask in Wipe module when in Compose mode?

Post by ionia23 »

Hello,

I hope I explain this right.

When you open an image into startools, you can choose Linear or Linear from OSC and not balanced. Choosing the center one allows processing luminance and color sort of separately, sort of not. Either way, better results.

Let's say you're in the Wipe module doing your thing. You switch over to the Color mode to check your results. You see some areas you need to mask out. When you open the mask module in there, it will only display luminance. I've had a few occasions where a few buried "bad" pixels cause some wierd anomalies in color, but I can't see them when I go into the Mask module inside of Wipe as that only shows luminance. Maybe a color option when inside of the mask module inside wipe?

Thank you, this is a rather important omission that needed to be addressed. This behavior is now implemented in the latest Release Candidate (available now in the download section).
