Version Update

Hi All,

New-ish user to startools, I'm on version 7 and want to update to Version 8.
Ive downloaded version 8 but it only sees me as a demo user ? ive probably missed something really straightforward but i cant find an obvious way to update ?

Please Help

Ignore.

I just found a license file in the version 7 folder, copy/paste. Et Voila !

Hi Andy,
please be sure anytime You'll update ST to copy Application plus Resource & Changelog files into the new folder. Then just copy/paste the license file plus any setup files (like largegui, highdpi etc. and You should be good to go as before. :thumbsup: Have fun with 1.8!

Do yo have the installer for version 1.7? I had 1.6 but it would crash on denoise. I went to 1.8 but it crashes on trimming the file size. I'd love to try and make it work using 1.7

Hi,

Are you saying it crashes in the Bin module?
Is this on the GPU or non-GPU version?
