Wipe V1.6

Post by Startrek »

In version 1.4 and 1.5 I usually use the default setting in Wipe which does a good job and where vignetting is present I use the vignetting preset , once again does a good job
Could you advise more about the Narrowband preset in Wipe
I experimented and used it on one of my images which was captured under moon glare with a OSC and Duoband filter and noticed the aggressiveness was defaulted to zero ?
It did remove gradient but not entirely
Await your advice
Thanks

The narrowband preset is indeed a very "gentle" preset; gradients are usually not as apparent in narrowband data as things that cause them (chiefly light pollution domes) are usually filtered out. Being as gentle as possible is always preferable, so, really, that's only the main difference there.

Hope that makes sense/helps!
