Re: 1.7.424 alpha with new Wipe module
I'm trying to run the "GPU" version, ut it will not start saying OpenCL.dll was not found. But I find this file everywhere. Does it need to be located somewhere specific?
I also had this: Is this saying that OpenCL (whatever that is) will not work on my machine.

Perfect!
You are likely better off using the UHD 630, as it is marginally faster for most operations.
Indeed, OpenCL is not supported by the driver that is currently in use. Try finding new drivers, or, if practical, an new video card (the GT 630 is very underpowered; almost any other second hand graphics card from the last ~8 years would likely be a significant improvement - please feel free to run some models by me if that is something you are considering).

OK, Thanks Ivo.
Will have to buy a new graphics card then. I guess a local shop can advise me. This is totally out of my league.
On the motherboard beside the graphics socket it says PCIe 3.0. Does this mean that I cannot use a PCIe 4.0 graphics card?

Re: 1.7.424 alpha with new Wipe module
PCIe 4 cards are backwards compatible with PCIe 3, so that won't be a problem
It will work (and should be roughly ~2-2.5x faster than you GT 630), but much like the GT 630 it was underpowered, even at its release, and not really the best bang-for-buck. If you can stretch the budget just a little, get the GTX 1050 (~6x) or - better still - the GTX 1050 Ti (~7x). The latter two exist in low-profile variants.

Ivo, thanks for your advice. Budget is not really an issue so will have a look at these.
