Win 8.1 with me logged in as administrator with full privileges. The zip download has the contents extracted and the files are all present in the same folder. When I try to run the exe installation file, an error message appears stating that either the resources file couldn't be found or is write-protected. Checking the properties of the folder and the resources file shows a single window with no other tabs available.
My computer skills are minimal, so I'm clearly overlooking something.

Re: Need help running installation
You don't have to install anything as far as I know. Just start "StarTools-Windows32.exe" if you have a 32bit WIndows or "StarTools-Windows64.exe" if you have a 64bit Windows. I did not install anything as far as I can remember
Re: Need help running installation
By installing, I meant running the exe file...that's when the error message pops up. I need the 64bit version, but the 32 reacts the same way.

Ok, tried copying both the resources file and the program file to a new folder on the desktop. Then the exe file ran and Startools opened. Something about un-zipping files that eludes me. Happy now!
